Reko Koba form Purefi Coffee Roasters
roaster: Purefi Coffee Roasters; Spring, Tx.
origin: Kochere, Ethiopia
This is the second coffee we’ve reviewed from PureFi Coffee. The mission of Purefi is to spread pure goodness in the local and global community, bridging the gap between the third-world conditions of coffee farmers to the first-world luxuries of outstanding coffee.
This coffee come from Reko Koba, in the Ethiopian district of Kochere, and it would be considered a single origin coffee. Now we’ve tasted other Kochere coffees before, but none quite like this one. We tried to review this coffee as an espresso, but we couldn’t get the machine dialed-in right, either way this is a coffee that’s geared towards those summer days in Texas Hill County. This is a light roast coffee, one of the lighter we’ve reviewed. We get tastes of lavender, jasmine, and a chocolaty flavor, with a smooth finish.
Coffee Rating – 85pts.

About our ratings – For both ratings (espresso & pour over) we’re looking at the flavor profile, along with drink-ability and balance. Reviewing the coffee as the espresso gives us extra insights into the nuanced flavors of the beans.
