“Brazil Fazenda Bela” from Vibe Coffee Co.
roaster: Vibe Coffee Company; Sacramento, CA
origin: Cerrado De Minas; Brazil
price: $15 (11oz)
tasting: 7/22/18
This coffee is the first we’ve tried from Vibe. It’s a Brazilian coffee, that was a light to medium roast. Vibe Coffee is a new company from California.
A lot of famous espresso blends use Brazilian coffee beans. This was a great single origin espresso. As an espresso it was sweet, with a nice crema. You can taste the pecan, but it’s not nutty or bitter, it remained sweet throughout.
Espresso Rating – 90pts.
As a coffee it was much richer than expected, especially for a light roast. It was smooth and full, with some chocolate notes and a nice creamy pecan finish.
Coffee Rating – 87pts.
Special thanks to Jordan from Vibe for the coffee, visit them at www.vibecoffeecompany.com/.
About our ratings – For both ratings (espresso & pour over) we’re looking at the flavor profile, along with drink-ability and balance. Reviewing the coffee as the espresso gives us extra insights into the nuanced flavors of the beans.
